Our mission is to create a supportive community where natural-minded families can gather to learn, grow, and share in harmony. Embracing the principles of freedom, we provide a sanctuary free from religious mandates, health directives, and governmental oversight. We believe in the right to forge meaningful connections and to make autonomous decisions for ourselves and our children. Our co-op is dedicated to nurturing all homeschooling families, offering a diverse range of educational opportunities while fostering a strong, like-minded community committed to holistic living and mutual enrichment.
Our Offerings
Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
Our Why
Gathre was born in the summer of 2020. After the church where our homeschool co-op met- along with everything else deemed “non-essential”- was shut down by the Governor, we found ourselves stuck at home; alone, isolated and struggling to keep positive. We spent months waiting hopefully for things to improve, to no avail.

Finally we decided, why not stop waiting and just start our own group? We dreamt of a freedom-minded community filled with others like us who were unafraid and ready to return to living life. We began as a small group meeting in a single room with little organization and have since grown to a large community meeting multiple days a week, offering everything from nature based free-play, field trips to a full-day co-op with elective offerings!

Gathre is here to stay, and we strive to be a safe haven to those wanting to live outside of governmental control and regulation, with a strong natural minded focus.
